Founded in 1966, over the past 40 years, D J Harris (Plumbing and Heating) Ltd, has become one of Andover's best known small firms. The company was originally started by Eileen and David Harris and, since their retirement in 1998, has been run by their son, Nigel, who prior to this had worked as on of the manual team for 14 years. The Plantation Road showrooms have recently undergone a complete refit and now feature several ranges of equipment which the company has exclusively in the area. These include:

• The Caradon Plumbing Products range (which includes such well-known names as Mira, Twyford for which D J Harris have been awarded "Sovereign Showroom" status. D J Harris also has the exclusive rights to display Twyford Pure Range in the area.

The showroom also features a working demonstration model of the Athena Whirlpool Jacuzzi. This device can be fitted to any bath, not just specialist models, meaning that now the luxury of a home Jacuzzi is available to everyone!
